Tashkent Ring
About the product
Tashkent — The Sixth Story in the Stories of Moldova series
After the 1966 earthquake, Moldova helped rebuild Tashkent. When the 1977 earthquake struck Moldova, Uzbekistan responded in kind. That is how the Tashkent Building came to be—built with their hands and their materials, as a gesture that needed no words.
Today, thousands of people pass by it without knowing its story. Some acts of kindness are never written in books. They are built in stone.
Materials: 925 sterling silver. Hand-applied vitreous enamel in various colors. The base shape of the ring is a crescent moon.
Handcrafted in Moldova.
Rings available in stock sizes are delivered within 2–3 business days. If your desired size is not in stock, the piece will be made especially for you within 2–4 weeks.
