“The Traveling Horse” is the first story in the “Stories of Moldova” collection.
If we were to take a journey through Moldovan fairy tales, stories, rituals, and traditions, we would encounter the Traveling Horse more than once. A horse that finds its own way back home, one that speaks and guides, and many others—even those that are “green” and on the walls. The horse is deeply rooted in the history of Moldova, which is why the First Story is dedicated to it — “The Traveling Horse.”
